I am not the only one in the world completely obsessed with the sea. Specially the shimmering of the sea makes me so happy and relaxed. But because I am so far away from the shimmering a decided to try to replicate it to have it intriduced more regularly into my daily life.

This is a fragment of a video shot from the Sexyland stage at Lowlands just before the leaked secret concert of the Opposites was about to start. (their first reunion after a breakup that left the country heartbroken) All day extremely wasted and eager festival-goers were enduring our highly experimental programmes out of fear to leave the premises and not be able to get back in for the concert. One of this experimental programs was to replicate the shimmering of the sea with the audience using a blue backdrop, aluminium foil and black gloves. This divine idea ofcourse originated before I knew the secret concert of the Opposites would leak out. So this became a very rough ocean. They hated me, I love this video
